This past weekend, the Venture Crew and Boy Scouts did a joint event caving and camping. We went caving at Tumbling Rock in Scottsboro, spending a wonder 5.5 hours climbing, crawling, and making our way far into the cave. All the scouts/crew climbed up King's Shower, made it around the pit, and saw the Christmas Tree before heading back. Mr. Matt, along with the Crew and Scouts prepared and wonderful dinner of beef stew. Mr. Burleson came out and brought his telescope where we viewed the moon, Jupiter, and several stars in the sky. It was a bit cold but we all had a wonderful time. Enjoy the pictures below.
